Is It A Book?
The purpose of this module is to challenge students’ thinking about what a book can and cannot be. We wish to provide a safe, silly space for kids to learn; many of the questions that we ask in this module are meant to be rhetoric and used simply to encourage critical thinking skills.
Creativity is one of our primary focuses at The Addison. Most of our activities are designed to be hands-on and interactive. We realize that hands-on activities can be expensive, so we have provided an “alternative shopping list” for those looking to keep their classroom activities cost effective!
